Senior Project Manager
Reports To: Program Director or Group Program Director
The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of an assigned account. This includes project timeline management, project workflow and final asset delivery. In a nutshell, s/he needs to be comfortable running meetings and keeping projects moving forward, on time and on budget.
Role & Responsibilities:
Internal Process Management
Responsible for developing campaign and project process workflows for assigned client or project.
Responsible for operational and production efficiencies.
Monitors and optimizes resource allocations.
Ensures the best practices and standards are understood and followed throughout the project and applies lesson learned from previous projects.
Manage, monitor and optimize creative resource allocations.
Own financial forecasting and tracking in partnership with Account Lead.
Manage server organization and upkeep.
Leverage project management tools to support effective and efficient project delivery.
Potentially manage 1-2 junior team members.
Client Workflow Management
Leader of process and a positive, collaborative work environment for the team.
Responsible for tracking margin/burn rate at project level and making necessary adjustments.
Monitors and reports on utilization and profitability across project teams.
Manages multiple integrated, multi-track projects simultaneously and investigates and understands project priorities in the context of agency and client expectations.
Creates, maintains and enforces project schedules, estimates, and resourcing for all projects.
Prioritizes tasks and deliverables for each project for the team and issues status reports.
Assesses and manages risk within, and across multiple projects and brings solutions to alleviate such risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
A minimum of 6 years project management experience in an agency/design/production firm, social
media experience is preferred
Experience managing 360 creative campaigns, including television, audio, digital, print and social.
Able to prioritize workflow and multitask
Highly organized and with a meticulous attention to detail
Solutions-oriented problem solver.
Ability to foresee and plan for potential bottlenecks before they become issues
Proactive approach with ability to meet deadlines
Enthusiastic, flexible, adaptive to change and comfortable in a fast paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to manage and maintain all operational tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with various resourcing and scheduling PM tools
