Title:Cashier
Reports to:General Manager / Assistant Manager / Supervisor
Company:TPS Parking Management, LLC
Position Summary:
Responsible for cash and credit card transactions for daily parking customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets each customer in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately processes all transactions
- Accurately accounts for daily transactions and activity
- Provides quick and pleasant customer courtesy, service, and satisfaction
- Answers telephones
- Cooperates with all team members to provide the best possible service to all internal and external customers
- Keeps all areas in office and cashier booth neat and clean
- Assists customers with TPS Spot Club Program and all inquiries
- Fills water cooler, as needed
- Follows all company policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook and Gold Standards
- Performs additional duties as reasonably requested by Management, especially during down times
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Required:
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous cashier and/or cash handling experience
- A solid employment record and previous customer service experience
- Basic math skills are essential
- Successful completion of Cashier Training Module
- Ability to verbally communicate clearly in the English language
- Must be able to maintain a smile and courteous disposition toward external and internal customers
- Valid driver’s license preferred

- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work environment
- Always remove trash as it accumulates
- Keep windows and all revenue control equipment clean
- Refrain from posting anything on the booth glass (i.e. posters, notes)
- Offer every guest our amenities

- Snacks or cookies when a promotion is in progress
- SMILE when a guest is within 10 feet of you; warmly greet a guest who is within 5 feet of you
- Accurately guide/inform guests on anything they may be unsure of, such as Spot Club, local attractions, and directions
- During every transaction, politely ask the guest if they have a coupon or corporate discount
- Ask the guest if he/she has a Spot Club card and offer one if he/she does not
- Inform the guest of their charge before and after any discount has been applied
- Always announce the amount of cash tendered or the amount charged to the credit card presented
- Always present the guest with a receipt (entry ticket)
- Guide our guests to our website if they have additional questions or need any more information
- Sincerely thank every guest for parking with us and tell them we value their business
