Job Summary:                      

  • Lead and develop the selling efforts of The Parking Spot within assigned SMB portfolio
  • Design, implement and evaluate success of promotional campaigns within assigned SMB portfolio
  • Independently manage the set-up of new account leads generated through the corporate inquiry portal
  • Provide direct guest support around utilization of existing corporate discounts
  • Provide support as needed to Key Account field sales organization
  • Serve as CRM (Sugar) Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals for assigned SMB accounts
  • Effective account maintenance within CRM (Sugar)
  • Mine large SMB portfolio for performance outliers; proactively develop growth monitoring target list and discount reduction recommendations
  • Idependently identify promotional initiatives that support revenue growth goals and the ability to evaluate success within those programs
  • Support field sales organization with sales/marketing programs/ initiatives
  • Develop call outreach plan to maximize revenue increased within SMB portfolio
  • Call on assigned number of qualified accounts/leads monthly
  • Engage field sales groups as appropriate when SMB customers reach field coverage growth thresholds

Strategic Accountabilities:

Build the Business

  • Deliver/exceed revenue goals within assigned account base
  • Maximize revenue and discount expense through proactive review of portfolio performance
  • Increase corporate and leisure customer base through pipeline management systems
  • Reach and impact account decision makers to drive adoption growth through reporting, promotional and service systems

 Build the Brand

  • Serve as liaison for the corporate office on revenue related initiatives
  • Oversee gathering of research of the local competitive landscape, while assisting in maintaining our competitive profile database
  • Identify and participate in targeted trade show/brand building event opportunities that offer substantial revenue growth for the local market

 Build The Organization

  • Lead and execute The Parking Spot’s selling culture and customer focus
  • Lead the collaboration with marketing and operations fostering a team environment for success
  • Support field sales colleagues by serving as a conduit with HQ

Activities/Time Allocations:

  • Portfolio management / mining for revenue opportunities / lead generation (25%)
  • Support of current corporate customers needing assistance with discounts (20%)
  • Signing new SMB customers generated through the corporate portal (30%)
  • CRM (Sugar) Administration (20%)
  • Personal Development/Training (5%)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of consumer service/product sales experience preferable
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of travel industry and/or parking business is preferable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting and discounting strategies
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and develop action plans that are tied to business objectives
  • Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to negotiate and possess a basic level of business acumen
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a “one-on-one” basis and in group presentations
  • Ability to exemplify leadership behaviors and foster a team selling culture
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
