Consultants work across our client engagements focusing on developing our clients’ executive-level talent to help them reach their full potential, thereby driving high performance for their businesses. This is a hybrid position, based out of our New York City Headquarters.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing support across the breadth of TMG’s client engagements, including (but not limited to) executive assessments, succession planning, executive coaching, team effectiveness offsites, group facilitations/workshops, organizational research, etc. Primary responsibilities for the role include:
- Preparing written reports and client presentations for C-level client engagements
- Preparing business development materials to support the pursuit of new business / upsell at existing clients
- Conducting required research, market analysis, and data gathering in support of client engagements
- Conducting phone calls with executives at our clients to collect data and feedback for executive assessment engagements
- Compiling reports in support of executive development and coaching engagements
- Reviewing and editing client deliverables to ensure formatting is consistent and to correct any grammatical / syntax errors
- Providing support for the development of intellectual capital during or following project assignments
- Providing project management oversight and direction across a number of clients
Required Skills
- Business acumen: well-honed analytical skills coupled with business acumen to draw insights and identify tailored solutions for our clients and their unique organizational contexts and needs
- Writing skills: an excellent writer with the ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful narratives
- Research skills: capable of conducting ad hoc research for clients and quickly crafting high quality client deliverables based on findings
- Editing skills: strong attention to detail; takes a meticulous and painstaking approach to work products; dedicated to delivering high quality, highly professional work to clients
- PowerPoint skills: strong familiarity with formatting PowerPoint slides; can create interesting / dynamic visuals and knows which tools to use to fix formatting issues that arise
- Communication skills: can effectively communicate with colleagues (and eventually clients) across a variety of methods (in person, on the phone, over email, etc.); thoughtful around updating colleagues on the status of projects and work

Work Experience and Educational Qualifications:
We hire great people, regardless of any one specific qualification. However, ideal qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience in: leadership consulting, management consulting (ideally in strategy with a specific interest in Human Capital), executive search, talent management/development, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree is a plus

TMG provides a competitive base salary, benefits and bonus package for our employees and new joiners. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for new joiners for this role is $110,000 - $160,000. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to an individual's experience and expertise.
