Corporate Account Manager

The Institutes’ Agent & Broker Group is committed to providing its corporate partners with innovative solutions that enable them to collaboratively understand and manage their customers’ commercial and personal risks. We do this by leveraging The Institutes’ hire-to-retire professional development solutions, a keen understanding of agencies and brokerages, and a deep passion for helping others discover and flourish in RMI professions. A key role in the Agent & Broker Group, the Corporate Account Manager serves as the single point of contact for corporate partners, listening to, understanding, and responding to their needs daily. By sharing what they learn and collaborating on new and improved solutions with other team members from Business Development, Continuing Education, Sales Operations, and Marketing, this role advances the Group’s ongoing efforts to empower risk management and insurance professionals to help those in need.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate clients, addressing service needs and providing issue resolution while maintaining agreed-upon service level standards and ensuring an overall positive experience.
  • Understands and supports corporate client strategies working in collaboration with A&B-focused marketing staff members to retain and expand client revenue.
  • Understands assigned clients’ needs and delivers program/product recommendations referencing in-place offerings and guidance from the SAO Manager.
  • Proactively manages Learning Management System (LMS) integrations with assigned clients.
  • Understands the processes and systems utilized by the A&B Group (SIMMS, APEX, Omni, Websites, HubSpot, etc.) and works collaboratively with the SAO Manager to update or improve processes and use of systems including transitions to new solutions as needed.
  • Assists the SAO Manager with the creation, maintenance, and implementation of customized client curriculums.
  • Maintains the Salesforce CRM platform for the A&B Group to maximize use of the CRM for workflow management, account and opportunity documentation, and efficiency of corporate client and key person communications. This includes identifying and coordinating implementation of ideas for expanded uses of Salesforce.
  • Assists with event logistics for education fairs, industry trade shows, professional development presentations and other meetings and events as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

We’re looking for someone with:

 

  • Undergraduate degree or comparable work experience.
  • Two to three years’ experience in a team-based, client-centric business environment (preferably remote or hybrid.)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office technology on an IBM (not a Mac) platform with proven ability to learn new systems.
  • Understanding of proprietary databases, content and learning management systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of The Institutes's educational offerings, business rules and practices (preferred).
