Communications Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to join the Triple-I’s strategic communications team! In this role, you’ll handle the distribution of news releases, the posting of social media content, and the organization of two major, in-person meetings with Triple-I-member company communicators each year. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating between the media and the internal communications department as media requests come in. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide support to the SVP, Media and Public Affairs and department by handling the coordination for calls, meetings and other activities, such as tracking the department’s budget
  • Organize periodic satellite media tours, working with vendors to secure live and pre-recorded interviews with Triple-I spokespeople; handles additional arrangements with media outlets throughout the country.
  • Arrange day-to-day media relations/interactions and interviews
  • Organize the Triple-I’s communications committee meetings, which are held twice annually
  • Distribute the Triple-I’s news releases and posts content to Triple-I social media channels
  • Manage the Triple-I’s media database and chronicles all communications department team member interactions w/reporters


We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a business or academic organization.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting Executive level individuals required.
  • Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office.
