Marketing Communications Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a bright, energetic, curious marketer with strong multi-channel marketing campaign management skills to join our fully remote team. As the next Marketing Communication Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our marketing efforts for key events and trade shows, focused on boosting brand awareness, driving event attendance, supporting sales initiatives, and ensuring a seamless brand experience onsite. You’ll also play a key part in supporting the marketing needs of our diverse affiliates and brands across The Institutes, bringing your ideas and skills to different projects.

What You’ll Do:
- Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns primarily focused on events and trade shows.
- Create, deploy, and analyze email marketing, paid media, social media, and direct mail campaigns.
- Write news releases, profiles, and stories highlighting the affiliates’ work and activities.
- Develop, update, and maintain print and electronic collateral as needed.
- Track communication metrics such as social, email, etc. (may be in collaboration with external partners)
- Partner with brand leaders, editing and design departments, as well as external partners to deliver assets including collateral, video, and event signage.
- Work with affiliate staff to ensure alignment in communications. This includes the promotion of educational and networking programs across the web, social media, e-mail, print, and other distribution and marketing platforms.
- Identify and support cross-marketing opportunities.
- Travel to major events and programs as needed. Ensure successful onsite execution of events alongside affiliate teams.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing, Communications, or Journalism preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in marketing communications. Event marketing experience a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superb writer, comfortable in both long and short-form formats with strong editorial skills and experience.
- Experience building, executing, and analyzing email, social, and paid media campaigns.
- Strong executor who is highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a highly collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, website platforms, email marketing platforms, and social media platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Experience with Cvent, CDS, A2Z or other event platforms a plus.
- Experience with Adobe, and Google Analytics a plus.
- Experience using video content a plus.
- General awareness of emerging trends impacting insurance professionals a plus.
