Web Analytics Manager

The Web Analytics Manager is responsible for analyzing website user experiences and purchase pathways to identify strategic insights on The Institutes core business performance, as well as opportunities for optimization. The ideal candidate will be a highly effective communicator who uses data to create a narrative and drive user focused experiences. The eCommerce Analyst’s day-to-day responsibilities include user experience architecting, click rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, SEO, and reporting on key metrics. This role reports to the Director of eCommerce.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for helping to architect the core business’ user experience
  • Responsible for click through rate optimization efforts (CRO), including defining plans, implementing plans, tracking efforts and reporting to continually improve site UX
  • Create and conduct A/B testing plans; report out on findings, insights, and optimizations
  • Responsible for SEO monitoring, reporting, and recommending optimizations
  • Provides reporting on and mapping of the customer journey to find opportunities to increase eCommerce
  • Partners with eComm team and Enterprise Research to create, maintain and optimize reporting and KPI dashboards
  • Partners with Enterprise Research to leverage findings to develop insights that translate into actionable recommendations
  • Works with Enterprise Research to understand, track, visualize and report on the core business’s eCommerce and campaign data and analytics
  • Utilize Google Tag Manager to implement events and success measures
  • Manages advanced analytics requests tied to web properties working with IT
  • Monitor compliance standards on website and related web properties
  • Partner with both internal and external technical and specialized partners as needed

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required with focus on Marketing or related field a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in user experience, CRO and/or A/B testing
  • Hands-on experience in GA4; GA4 certification a plus
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Looker Studio, A/B testing tools, UX tools, web content management systems and heat mapping tools
  • Experience with omni-channel marketing
  • Understands and can explain customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX)
  • Experience working with third-party agencies
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Experience with back-end database querying technologies such as Big Query and SQL is a plus
  • Experience with Tableau a plus
