Climate LLC seeks a high-performing Engineering Manager- Enterprise Platform, to help build our next generation of B2B API offerings. The successful candidate will report to Climate's Director of Engineering- Integration Capabilities, and will oversee all things project, development standards, SOPs, releases and hotfix coordination for Climate Corporation. As an Engineering Manager, this role is to lead and inspire a team of API engineers as they design, build, test and support world-class APIs. You must be passionate about backend API development technologies and motivated by solving problems with real-world impact. What You Will Do:
● Primary contact for designated Climate Engineering lead for all things project, development standards, SOPs, releases and hotfix coordination.
● Provide high fidelity project planning and management for accountable projects.
● Lead and inspire a team of API engineers as they design, build, test and support world-class APIs.
● Active participant in screening and recruiting Engineering candidates for Climate teams.
● Drive an efficient and effective Agile software development process to manage a deep backlog and launch iteratively developed products.
● Actively engage in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
● Lead the team’s technical design process in collaboration with Climate Architects and aligned with Climate’s documented Architecture.
● Oversee software development activities to ensure quality and security.
● Take accountability for and drive software engineering best practices across the team.
● Ensure clear alignment between team’s and Climate’s goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
● 2+ Years operating as a Technical Team Lead with team sizes of 5+ members.
● 4+ years of experience with API development.
● Understanding of asynchronous programming and building reactive applications.
● Experience working with Product Managers and multiple stakeholders.
● Experience in Tier 3 support duties and on-call rotation.
● Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
● BS in Computer Science, MS or equitable experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Previous experience working with US-based Product Development organizations in a Team Lead capacity.
● 7+ years hands-on experience designing, developing and supporting large scale APIs across both B2C and B2B consumers.
● Demonstrated ability to influence global cross functional partners to deliver intuitive mobile experiences.
● Ability to write production-quality code and contribute to team deliverables as needs arise.
● Expertise with multiple enterprise-scale software development and continuous delivery methodologies.
