Position Overview:

The Climate Corporation seeks a high-performing Finance Analyst to join its team. The successful candidate will report to Climate's Global Financial Planning & Analysis Lead and will oversee the financial performance of different functions of The Climate Corporation.  The finance analyst will be a business partner as this role is responsible for providing financial reporting, planning and analysis to executives (CLT) of The Climate Corporation to facilitate timely and value-added business decisions. In addition, the Finance Analyst will provide control and oversight assisting the Finance team in the training and deployment of policies, controls and audit requirements. What You Will Do:

  • Own the development and management of the financials for the supported functions
  • Lead and partner with the business in the development of both short and long-range plans
  • Lead forecasting of results and work with business partners to optimize results as dynamics change
  • Deliver valuable and timely analysis to executives (CLT) to support sound business decision making
  • Drive business analysis, valuation and financial modeling support for business expansion, new product launches and other ad-hoc analysis (Enterprise)
  • Provide monthly management reports and metrics analysis to the supported Business Lead
  • Champion process improvement and implementation of best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all policies
  • Develop creative ways to evaluate the business and drive overall value in collaboration
  • Support ad-hoc projects as and when they arise

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a business, Accounting or Finance focus
  • 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience.
  • Solid financial knowledge including GAAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & Power Point skills
  • Prior experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis role. Controllership experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of SAP financial modules and Hyperion Smart View
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Autonomous and self-driven leader with strong results orientation and ability to manage through barriers
  • Ability to influence and work across multiple functions to drive and deliver desired results
  • Ability to lead and perform in ambiguous situations often with incomplete information
