The Patient Registrar will ensure the quality of patient registrations to the hospital by obtaining thorough and accurate information in a timely and efficient manner. Must interact with ancillary departments and staff to ensure quality care for all patients. The Patient Registrar also serves as a patient resource in matters concerning financial/payment arrangements and will discuss financial matters for up-front collections or payment arrangements if necessary.

Qualifications:

•High School Graduate or Equivalent

•Excellent customer service skills

•Good interpersonal, teamwork and PC skills

•1-2 years clerical experience; Prefer 1-2 years of prior healthcare admitting/registration experience
