Terran Orbital Corporation seeks an experienced Test Equipment Operations Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Sr. VP of Infrastructure, the Test Equipment Operations Manager will have extensive experience in Satellite (modular and assembly) test systems. This position would be responsible for the management, coordination (across AIT and facilities), and integration of existing and new deployments of the critical performance and test equipment for Terran’s modular and production assembly areas. This includes the infrastructure requirements, operation, process, scheduling maintenance windows across production, calibration, and performance.

Key Duties And Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the design, process and procedure, maintenance, and ongoing operations of the vibration/shaker/shock, TVAC, Thermal Chambers, HASS, and future acoustical testing for current and future design-build and operations
  • Manage daily operations of the Lab, assembly, build, and test equipment. This coordinates closely with Facilities and AIT lab management
  • Support ancillary systems such as AIR and Nitrogen, water, battery, etc.
  • Work and support the Robotic automation group in future deployments for support of the above systems
  • Responsible for continuous uptime, maintenance, test, calibration, and repair of lab equipment. Deep understanding of the operation and performance of the machines, operating parameters (performance/efficiency), and required infrastructure support Air/Water/N2

Qualification And Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience expertise in Mech/Electro/Aerospace system/controls
  • 5+ years of experience working with environmental test equipment in a clearnroom production environment
  • Strong technical skills and experience with the systems listed.
  • Ability to learn and build requirements for the design and operation of new systems
  • Good understanding of environmental controls and requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work extended/off shift hours if needed in support during critical delivery periods
  • Ability and willingness to go above and beyond one's comfort zone when learning about new and progressive technology adoption, planning, and deployments. other

Salary Range $90,000-$140,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
