Your Role:
Tenable is looking for a skilled finance systems professional with hands-on experience in Anaplan. You possess extensive expertise as an Anaplan Model Builder and have a deep understanding of business challenges. Your valuable contributions will help us shape our Anaplan Roadmap. Tenable is a rapidly expanding global leader in the cybersecurity market, and we aim to grow and scale profitably. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including finance, HR, sales, and operations, to develop strategies that support Tenable growth. As an Anaplan Model Builder, your responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Anaplan models that align with our financial and business objectives. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, a strong grasp of financial and operational planning, and the ability to construct scalable and efficient models in Anaplan.
Your Opportunity:

  • Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with cross-functional teams, understand their requirements, and align Anaplan models with business needs. Effectively communicate and manage expectations for successful delivery.
  • Model Optimization: Continuously enhance the Sales Planning Anaplan model, improving performance, scalability, and efficiency. Streamline processes, automate calculations, and adhere to best practices.
  • Model Design and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design robust Anaplan models, and establish data relationships, hierarchies, and dimensions.
  • Data Integration: Integrate diverse data sources into Anaplan models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity through data extraction and transformation.
  • Complex Model Building: Develop intricate calculations, formulas, and logic in Anaplan models, supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Thoroughly test and validate Anaplan models, ensuring accurate data and resolving any inconsistencies or issues.
  • Documentation Management: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Anaplan models, including design, mappings, formulas, assumptions, and business rules.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training, support, and user guides to maximize Anaplan model usability. Address user queries and issues promptly.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new Anaplan features, functionalities, and best practices, expanding knowledge and improving model building skills.
  • Crosstrain across the FP&A team to learn about all aspects of our unique and successful business model.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of financial and operational planning processes and methodologies.
  • Anaplan Expertise: Demonstrate strong proficiency in building and maintaining Anaplan models, including modules, dimensions, hierarchies, and relationships. 
  • Master Anaplan Certification is a plus. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit proficiency in creating complex calculations, formulas, and logic within Anaplan models.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes, including data mappings and data transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective Anaplan models.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and data integrity in the models.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

The base salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $149,333.33 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
