Your Role:

At Tenable, the work that we do matters in delivering industry-leading cyber exposure products. Our mission is to help our customers understand and manage their security vulnerabilities and effectively manage their cyber-exposure risk. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Pricing & Packaging, this position provides strong analytical support, data driven insights and executes pricing initiatives to drive growth and optimization of Tenable’s current and future product portfolio.

We’re looking for a Pricing & Packaging Analyst who has a strong pricing background, a firm grasp of value based pricing, and is adept at leading, influencing, and inspiring collaboration across cross-functional teams. In this role, you will partner directly with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Operations, and Finance to help define and deliver the next generation of pricing and packaging for the product portfolio. The ideal candidate will be hyper focused on delivering pricing in alignment with customer value and will have a track record of delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment, high growth company.  

 Your Opportunity:

  • Help define, launch and drive value-based pricing go-to-market initiatives to support company growth and financial objectives
  • Analyze competitive pricing and revenue model strategies to stay informed on changing dynamics and best practice innovation
  • Develop financial scenario models and propose pricing options based on value-add, market and competitive information to drive financial performance
  • Manage monthly pricing reporting insights and trends across the product portfolio and recommend opportunities for potential pricing optimization
  • Design and execute pricing tests and promotional pricing across the product portfolio
  • Create pricing enablement content to educate customers and sales on Tenable licensing requirements and details

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Finance, Math or Economics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Pricing, Product Marketing, Consulting or Finance with a focus on aligning customer value with willingness to pay
  • Be able to work independently and effectively in a results-oriented, efficient environment
  • Demonstrated track record as an empathetic listener and team player
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from qualitative and quantitative feedback from disparate sources in order to drive pricing and packaging recommendations
  • Ability to work with and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Tableau
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skill

The base salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $170,000.00 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
