Senior Services Architect II

Your Role:

The Senior Services Architect II is a key member of the Tenable Professional Services Portfolio Team. The Senior Services Architect II is responsible for creating and updating Professional Services Training and Services Portfolio offerings under the umbrella of under the guidance of the organization’s strategic vision. The Senior Architect II is expected to operate independently and when applicable provide direction and guidance to less senior resources. In this role, you will drive content and services for the Tenable Product suite enabling internal and external customers as well as partners. You will also work in a cross functional capacity staying abreast of technology changes while updating collateral and services where appropriate. The ideal candidate will have several years working with vulnerability management solutions, preferably in a senior role with Tenable products or competing solutions.

Your Opportunity:

  • Collaborate with Professional Service peers to understand content requirements
  • Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity
  • Conduct scoping calls with customers
  • Stay informed of product changes and evaluate update needs
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with internal groups, team members and external companies
  • Review, update, and publish professional service and educational content
  • Independently manage assigned projects
  • Help develop strategy to further revenue goals set by the business
  • Thrive in an ambiguous environment, driving teams toward an agreed upon goal
  • Coordinate gathering and technical analysis of customer requirements
  • Recommend improvements to programs and user experience
  • Has excellent communication skills along with the ability to influence people from customers to managers by creating win-win solutions
  • Possess deep customer empathy and demonstrate ownership of customer-facing issue resolution
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and can independently complete goals

What You'll Need:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
  • 10 years of overall experience in Information Security
  • 7 or more years of vulnerability management experience preferably with the Tenable product suite
  • 7 or more years of professional service or consulting experience
  • 7 or more years of experience with network security 
  • Working knowledge of Web Application, Container Security, and ICS/SCADA systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with security assessment tools such as Kali Linux, Nessus and Metasploit
  • Must have a strong initiative and the ability to work remotely, both in a self-directed manner and as part of a geographically distributed team
  • Experience in working in cross function/cross organization teams
  • Experience interfacing with customers, collecting customer requirements and coordinating customer activities
  • Excel at detail-oriented, hands-on, and metric-driven tasks
