We are looking for a highly motivated UI/UX designer to define the safe, efficient and evolutionary connected car experience. As a UI/UX Designer in the Automotive Design team you will work closely with product managers, engineers, project managers as well as fellow designers and user researchers to create software that will shape the future of assisted and autonomous driving in connected cars for millions of automotive users around the world.

Successful candidates will have both an excellent design portfolio as well as a background or interest in how technology works.

In this role, you will:

• Iterate and refine the visual design of in-car navigation, IVI system and ADAS software.
• Create design specs, assets, animations and prototypes to support ongoing projects.
• Create concepts, prototypes and presentations to communicate design ideas with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure design deliveries and refine design system.
• Collaborate with engineers and QA team to ensure designs are perfectly implemented.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• 2+ years of UI/UX design or related design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Industry design, Service design or other related areas
• Excellent skills in either Figma, Sketch or any other UI/UX design tools
• Experience building basic interaction prototypes to illustrate user experience ideas
• Experience turning product concepts into implementable designs
• Great collaboration and communications skills
• A positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate, learn and have fun
• Both reading and writing skills in Mandarin and English

It’ll be greater if you are also:

• Familiar with 3D modelling software like Cinema 4D, Blender, Rhino, Autodesk Maya, etc
• Experienced in 2D/3D map style design
