The Role        
        
The RCM Projects Manager works directly with the RCM Operational Leadership teams in various capacities including, oversight of process optimization, client implementations and onboarding, change management and controls, managing workflow efficiency and other duties as assigned. This role also partners with leadership to standardize, develop, and update workflow processes.  The manager is also responsible for monitoring team productivity and quality.        
       
Please note:  This position requires typical working hours in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone.     
        
What You’ll Do        
  • Serve as subject matter experts to ensure workflow processes are aligned, accurately documented, and implemented.
  • Recommend optimized workflow processes and procedures and create workflow documents to support operational teams.
  • Work with people leaders to align and standardize workflows and establish / improve processes to drive efficiency and increase productivity.
  • Research topics and preparing resource material for internal education for the Workflow Management team.
  • Research issues impacting performance to identify areas of opportunity and offering recommendations for resolution.
  • Participate in cross-functional work groups, trainings and physician billing initiatives as assigned.
  • Use up-to-date knowledge and skills associated with systems and functional process requirements to ensure operational excellence across operational teams.
  • Maintain workflow tracking system for workflow documentation timeliness, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Setting priorities and assigning workflow tasks
  • Partner with operations, managers and directors for process approval and implementation
  • Provide Operation Directors with updates on critical issues, problematic trends, and planned resolution activities.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards.
  • Manage other innovative and progressive projects and duties as assigned based on business needs.
  • Responsible for identification and delivery of production specific workflow needs.
  • Lead and/or participate in focused task forces related to various process or workflow improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
        
What We’re Looking For        
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 years of revenue cycle operations experience preferably in a leadership role.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to multi- task and meet deadlines under time pressures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with and communicate with the Workflow Management team and operations.
  • Intermediate or higher skill with presentation technology, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Advanced knowledge of third-party billing requirements including PPO, EPO, HMO, Indemnity, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Work Comp.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, coding (CPT / ICD-10 / HCPCS) and standard electronic billing format.
  • Ability to make judgment call with confidence, problem solve, delegate, and disperse workload according to team members individual strengths.
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) a plus.
        
Preferred qualifications:        
  • CPC or other coding certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of EMR/EHR system; eCW, Meditech, NextGen experience.

Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00        
        
This compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Acclara in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Acclara may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
