Waterproofing Estimator – Project Manager (Exempt)

Position Summary:
Responsible for estimating waterproofing projects and managing them from pre-bid through completion. Ensures projects meet budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards while supporting profitability and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections; perform take-offs; develop scopes of work and pricing for labor and materials.
- Prepare bids, proposals, submittals, change orders, and secure supplier pricing.
- Manage projects from award to closeout, including scheduling, purchasing, invoicing, and cost control.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and material slips for scope and policy compliance.
- Coordinate with prime contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor labor/material costs to protect margins and increase revenue.
- Maintain inventory, equipment, and supplier price lists.
- Lead production teams and attend project meetings (pre-bid, start-up, progress).
- Address client inquiries, disputes, and past-due accounts.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and enforce company safety policies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of waterproofing estimating experience.
- 4+ years of construction project management experience.
- Proficient in Edge (or similar estimating software), MS Excel, Word, and MS Project.
- Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to conduct take-offs and visit job sites (~50% travel; comfortable with heights).
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree (construction/engineering) preferred.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical site activities.
