Position Overview:
The role of Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office with a focus on customer service, data entry and general office workflows.  Centering on effective communication with customers, this role requires a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical, customer service and organizational skills.  The right candidate will have prior experience in an office support role, with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  
Position Responsibilities:  
  • Respond to in-person, telephone, email and fax inquiries from customers, internal departments and external partners; 
  • Process and input weekly payroll; 
  • Assist Service department with general administrative support including generating service work orders and dispatching service technicians;   
  • Support General Manager with project adjustments; 
  • Monitor and maintain office technology and supply inventory; place orders as necessary;
  • Provide support and documentation in alignment with recruitment and onboarding efforts; 
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments, with a focus on data entry, documentation filing and document preparation; 
  • Manage outgoing and incoming mail, packages and deliveries; 
  • Process company A/R and A/P;
  • Organize and plan employee recognition and team building events; 
  • Investigate and resolve problems related to areas of responsibility; gather and analyze information and act accordingly.  
Position Requirements:  
  • Previous experience in an office management/administrator role, 2+ years (required) 
  • Commercial roofing and/or general construction experience, 1+ years (strongly preferred).  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on active listening.  Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.    
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (required); strong Excel skills (strongly preferred).  
  • Excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills.  
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.  
  • Highschool diploma required.  College coursework preferred.    
Working Conditions:  
  • Office environment with typical office machines and exposure to noise and temperature.  
  • Extensive sitting, standing, bending, standing, walking are all expected activities.  Ability to lift more than 25 lbs. on occasion.

Compensation: Starting at $60,000; DOE
