Position Summary:
Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our HVAC Foreman are individuals who are skilled and wanting to grow within their career. The HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily activities of field installation and production with the highest degree of quality, in the safest and most cost-effective manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide training, leadership and direction to the field staff employees.
- Train employees on safety procedures and safety equipment.
- Maximize productivity while maintaining job costs, installation quality and employee safety.
- Ensure the proper utilization of materials and equipment.
- Ensure quality practices for the department.
- Train Installers on different HVAC sheet metal products and systems.
- Additional duties
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Extensive knowledge with multiple types of HVAC sheet metal products and systems.
- Advanced planning skills for establishing maximum productivity of workforce, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Occasional travel and out of town work is required.
- Available to work for extended hours when necessary.
- Valid Driver’s License
- No fear of heights
- Lift 50+ lbs
- Sit, stand, and climb stairs

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
