Position Summary:
Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Plumbing professionals. Our Plumbers are responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Individuals in this role work closely with project managers and other trades to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Our Plumbers are represented by Plumbers Local 34.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret building plans and specifications
• Compile and organize material lists for projects
• Coordinate work with project managers and other trades
• Collaborate with peers within the plumbing trade
• Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards
• Additional duties as assigned

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and building plans
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication with project managers, coworkers, and other trades
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• Physical ability to perform trade-related work
• No fear of heights
• Lift 50+ lbs
• Sit, stand, and climb stairs
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and building plans

Benefits:
Plumbers are represented by Plumbers Local 34, with benefits provided through the union. Wages range from $22.83 to $42.12 per hour, based on experience and union scale.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be able to use hands, will talk and hear. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
