Power Vac Technician

Position Summary:
Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our Power Vac Technicians are individuals who can problem solve and complete projects from start to finish. As a Power Vac Technician, you are involved with assisting the Lead Technician with completion of residential and commercial projects. Keeping job sites clean and orderly is important to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Laying out air hoses
- Set up and tear down equipment
- Assist and operate Power Vac equipment
- Additional duties
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman
- Valid Driver’s License
- Physical Endurance & flexibility (will be required to get in attics, on ladders, crawl spaces, roofs, lifts, physically inside ductwork, confined spaces)
- Attention to details: Inspecting equipment, structures and material -- able to identify problems or defects
- No fear of heights
- Lift 50+ lbs
- Sit, stand, and climb stairs
- Ability to wear a respirator
- On the job training is provided

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
