The Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through proactive outreach and professional service. This role involves identifying opportunities, building trust with commercial clients, preparing proposals, and ensuring projects move smoothly from initial contact through post-sale support.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential commercial clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, site visits, and industry events.
- Use CRM tools to manage and track leads, prospects, and client interactions.
- Research market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, building owners, contractors, and facility managers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Follow up consistently to maintain engagement and encourage repeat business.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals
- Conduct site inspections (with team support if needed) to assess customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and bids.
- Work with estimators and project managers to develop accurate, competitive pricing.
- Contract Negotiation & Closing
- Negotiate terms and pricing within company guidelines.
- Clearly explain contract terms and scope of work to clients.
- Close deals and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and installation crews to ensure project success.
- Relay customer feedback and site-specific information to operations and service teams.
- Help schedule and coordinate pre-construction meetings, inspections, and follow-ups.
- Post-Sale Support
- Check in with clients after project completion to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Promote maintenance plans, repair services, and future upgrades.
- Cultivate long-term relationships for referrals and repeat work.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development (preferably in construction or related industries).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
- Knowledge of roofing, construction, or related technical services.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
