Payroll Specialist/Administrator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities: 

  • Be responsible for preparing monthly payroll for our European based employees
  • Work closely with our payroll providers to ensure the payroll process runs smoothly and accurately each month
  • Support employees in questions regarding pay slips, income tax and social security law
  • Liaise with health insurance companies, insurance companies, offices and authorities (eg for company pension schemes BAV)
  • Prepare monthly and year end reconciliations and deliver accurate reports to Finance (eg vacation and bonus provisions)
  • Manage payroll related topics for our international assignments
  • Ensure GDPR compliance for internal and external data

What you bring:

  • Proven experience preparing end-to-end payroll in a German company. Other European payroll experience is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication abilities with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fluency in German and English
