About Elite Insurance Partners (EIP)
Elite Insurance Partners (EIP) is a rapidly growing, nationally recognized insurance brokerage headquartered in Tampa, Florida. We represent 30+ top‑rated carriers and specialize in Medicare, Life, ACA, and supplemental health products. As Medicare production continues to scale, EIP is expanding its household‑coverage strategy to ensure spouses and dependents receive the same high‑touch guidance our Medicare clients expect.
About the Role
We are hiring our first Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace Sales specialist to support Medicare households, spouses and dependents who are not Medicare‑eligible and require ACA marketplace or alternative coverage.
You will work primarily with existing and incoming Medicare clients, not cold ACA leads. This role blends deep ACA expertise, consultative selling, and operational leadership. You will help us build the ACA function the right way from process and carrier strategy to client experience.
This position is a ground‑floor opportunity. The right hire will start hands‑on and grow into a team lead or manager as we scale to a dedicated ACA unit.
What You’ll Do
Medicare Household Coverage
- Support Medicare clients by advising and enrolling spouses and dependents into ACA marketplace plans or alternative health solutions
- Serve as the dedicated ACA point of contact for Medicare‑driven household cases
- Deliver a seamless, high‑trust experience across Medicare → ACA transitions
ACA Expertise & Advisory
- Educate clients on ACA marketplace plans, subsidies, SEP/OE rules, and carrier differences
- Confidently assess eligibility, household income, and coverage scenarios
- Advise on short‑term medical and ancillary products (dental, vision, hospital indemnity, etc.) when appropriate
Operational & Department Build‑Out
- Help establish ACA workflows, documentation standards, and best practices
- Partner with leadership to define KPIs, service metrics, and quality standards
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities as the ACA function scales
Carrier & Compliance Collaboration
- Work across multiple ACA carriers and understand contracting requirements
- Coordinate with licensing, compliance, and back‑office teams to ensure accuracy and speed
- Support long‑term carrier strategy and product mix decisions

Highly Preferred
- Prior experience supporting Medicare households or cross‑selling from Medicare to ACA
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or management experience (formal or informal), with willingness to remain hands-on initially while the ACA function is built
- Background in building or scaling a new insurance function or department
- Comfort getting back on the phones short‑term to build a strong foundation
