Your Opportunity: Card Fulfillment Services is seeking a Production Team Lead responsible for managing staff and materials in order to meet department schedules while accurately keeping all related records and documents.  This position is responsible for training in new employees and working individually with current employees, while providing them knowledge on the departmental policies, procedures, and tasks.  This position acts as a role model for all employees on the team.  Additionally, this position should be able to recognize real and potential problems and clearly communicate information and data to the Production Supervisor.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and materials to meet department schedules
  • Train new and current employees on departmental procedures and practices and equipment operation
  • Delegate tasks to team members
  • Work with account managers to ensure all required job information is accurate and documented
  • Coordinate job schedules within the department and provide production updates
  • Coordinate all department production scheduling to include manning decisions
  • Complete all production and quality reports
  • Work with the warehouse and inventory representatives on material movement
  • Ensure the sign off approvals meet production needs
  • Provide frequent updates to Production Supervisor regarding issues and problems in the department as well as provide ideas for potential solution
  • Responsible for acting as a positive role model to team members
  • Assist in the ISO Quality Management System and audits
  • Conduct visual checks of machinery and escalate any problems to leadership and maintenance
  • Contribute to the team’s production goals
  • Understand and comply with all departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
  • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required

Your Shift:

  • 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

You Must Have:

  • 1+ years in leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
  • A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word)

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Associates degree in Business or related field
  • Ability to provide clear, simple direction to Operators and Production Assistants
  • Ability to delegate tasks
  • Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
  • Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned
