Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator II
Set-up and operate Bobst Die Cutter; follow standard work methods and prescribed safety practices to ensure production is as efficient and as safe as possible
Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, within quality guidelines and in a timely fashion
Responsible for achieving the standard production rates on Die Cutter equipment
Complete tasks as directed by production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Enter production data into Monarch data collection system; include start and end time of task assigned, the quantity of production produced, etc.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required to reduce problems, maintain quality, and minimize costly repairs and downtime
Responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing simple repairs to the equipment, as necessary
Provide training to other team members, as requested by supervisor
Maintains the work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules and regulations
Examine finished products for quality assurance; report defective materials or questionable quality issues to supervisor
• Monday - Friday, 9:30pm-5:30am
You Must Have:
High School Diploma or equivalent or work-related experience
Two (2) years of set-up and operating experience on Bobst Die Cutter
Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and follow directions
Ability to perform basis mathematical calculations
We Would Also Prefer:
• Must have ability to work with very close tolerances
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members
• High degree of analytical skills
