MentorMate is seeking an Office Assistant to support our Minneapolis location. The position is responsible for being the first point of contact for clients and guests, and assisting several departments with administrative tasks. This is an entry level position with opportunities to grow within the organization.

Shift Available

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


  • $14.00 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

  • Welcomes and greets visitors and administers appropriate access levels

  • Answers, screens and directs incoming phone calls

  • Light scheduling for executives or hiring teams

  • Submission and follow-up of IT tickets to IT Partner

  • Administrative support for various departments

  • Research projects as assigned

  • Ensures coffee/water/beverages are available at all times for visitors and staff

  • Sorts and distributes incoming correspondence, including emails, packages and mail

  • Maintains organized office area, including light cleaning in common spaces

  • Submits maintenance requests and manages follow-up

  • Additional tasks as requested

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Authorization for employment in the U.S.

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Customer service, telephone and computer skills

  • Cheerful presence and people skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceed the highest standards of integrity and business ethics especially when handling confidential information
