Your Opportunity: AdGraphics, a Taylor Corporation company located in White Bear Lake, MN, is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for providing all order entry and order processing functions for assigned inbound orders for wholesale distribution. This includes purchase order troubleshooting, problem solving, service resolution, and proofing. All staff is expected to be well organized and capable of multitasking across a variety of activities that occur spontaneously through the course of the shift.
Respond to and/or make a high volume of telephone calls with current and/or potential customers.
Use a computer system to track calls, questions, answers, and check status of or enter orders.
Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
Consult with customers after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
Enter orders for all brands into customer service data base system.
Conduct follow up communication with customers by telephone and/or email to confirm proof approvals and/or requests for art revisions.
Communicate and coordinate expedited orders with production personnel.
Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
Prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.
Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests.
Establishing and maintaining long term, interpersonal relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
Communicating with persons outside organization, representing the organization to customers. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail
Communicating with supervisors, peers, or subordinates via telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Ensures that customers receive the best service possible through positive interactions via various communication channels such as voice, email, internet chat and social media to ensure orders are processed correctly whether in a call center or non call center customer service environment.
You Must Have:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a call center or other form of customer service, sales, promotional products, and/or similar functions
Basic computer and typing skills
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
We Would Also Prefer:
A college degree in business or related field
Strong system skills including proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
