Travel Tags is seeking a Press Operator to operate a UV 40" multi-color sheet fed press. The position is responsible for reviewing

 

Shift Available

  • 5:45 pm to 6:00 am - alternating days of the week, including weekends.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review job tickets and determine how to run the job
  • Prepare press for operation and direct feeder on required setup and adjustments
  • Match the digital job proof to an accurate sample
  • Complete the signoff process by receiving approval with a supervisor or customer
  • Run jobs following order specifications
  • Follow proper procedures for filing and retaining sheets for all jobs
  • Ensure print quality and make all required adjustments

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience operating multi-color offset press
  • Experience working with lenticular jobs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree in Graphic Arts
  • Previous experience in UV sheet fed pressroom with synthetic substrates
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • Knowledge of lithography procedures
  • Knowledge of commercial printing procedures
  • Ability to delegate tasks and provide clear direction to co-workers
  • Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding the English Language
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Has good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
