Your Opportunity: Taycal is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.  The Maintenance Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and improving various pieces of equipment.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on all types of equipment and facility
  • Perform effective emergency repairs on all types of equipment
  • Assemble and install new equipment
  • Make modifications to existing equipment to reduce downtime and maximize production efficiencies
  • Work closely with and be able to communicate with internal and external suppliers to secure quotes and outside services
  • Order supplies and materials necessary to complete repairs
  • Keep accurate records
  • Maintain daily and monthly expenses and work within defined budgets
  • Create requisitions for equipment and parts
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
  • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required


Your Shift:

  • Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm


You Must Have:

  • 5+ years vast experience in equipment repair and general facility maintenance
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic English
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


We Would Also Prefer:

  • Technical degree in electrical, industrial maintenance, or other related field
  • Experience and knowledge in the print industry
  • Knowledge of mechanical workings, including electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical
  • Ability to read diagrams and blueprints
