Your Opportunity: ComplyRight is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering in our Pompano Beach, FL location. As a Manager, Software Engineering you will train, mentor, and delegate assignments to a dedicated team of engineers of varied skill levels. You will work hands-on with them in architecting, developing and scaling our technology platforms making solid technical decisions. You will help us grow by recruiting, retaining, and growing top talent. With your leadership and technical prowess, you will help us shape the future of HR, Tax and compliance software.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Leads, directs and reviews the work to maintain and optimize existing solutions to ensure high availability and performance
  • Design and implement new, innovative solutions following best practices for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA and other stakeholders as part of the Agile (SCRUM) process
  • Champion the implementation of engineering and security best practices
  • Be accountable for the team’s health, performance, and value delivery outcomes
  • Identify and remove impediments affecting development pace
  • Lead the recruitment of outstanding engineers that reinforce our core values
  • Lead and participate in code reviews with regular analysis
  • Produce and maintain documentation, system diagrams and data models


You Must Have:

  • 9+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience managing a team of software developers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • High proficiency with .NET web development using C#
  • High proficiency with Angular 2+
  • Experience with SQL Server 2016 and SQL best practices
  • Experience with web services using WCF, ASMX and various protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON)
  • Experience developing for customer-facing software-as-a-service
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and other client-side libraries
  • Experience with integrating third party tools, API development and cloud middleware platforms
  • Familiarity with SOAs, elasticity, security and micro-services
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration and migration issues
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation and negotiation
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, follow through and detail-orientation
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task successfully in a deadline-intensive environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, self-teach, take initiative and adapt easily to changes
