Taylor Corporation is seeking a Senior Analyst, Digital Messaging to provide operational leadership while focusing on service delivery in designing, building, implementing and managing email and other digital communications campaigns. Day-to-day activities include meeting with stakeholders to gather requirements, consulting on messaging best practices, message creation and service delivery according to established timelines. Team duties also include segmenting lists, managing mail list databases, drafting engaging content and analyzing results. The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high quality work in a timely manner is key in this role, and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT staff, Product Management and Client Services is essential to success in this position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Understand key business objectives and strategies, and participate in the development of digital communication strategies and plans to enable business objectives
  • Contribute to prioritization of roadmap activities to ensure work focuses on maximum business value
  • Partner with internal stakeholders – and external partners as determined appropriate (e.g., Internet Service Providers) – to define, plan and implement our digital communications strategy
  • Contribute to the development of communication standards and best practices (both human and technological) including the real-time implementation of content strategies
  • Drive and leverage prototyping to demonstrate/validate value
  • Contribute detailed requirements, stories and acceptance criteria for solution development teams
  • Launch, optimize, and measure digital communication campaigns in a consistent, repeatable and scalable manner
  • Report on the effectiveness of digital communications strategy by identifying and tracking key KPIs and showing performance and business impact against business priorities
  • Identify and execute testing metrics to continually improve service delivery and customer experience
  • Leverage data, customer insights and analytics to drive decisions in support of the digital communications operational roadmap
  • Monitor team capacity and, as directed, engage contractors and vendors to augment staffing, digital skillsets and/or operational bandwidth
  • Contribute in defining a Minimum Viable Product for center of excellence service

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Technology or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience performing increasingly complex and broadly defined functions in areas such as email/social media/SMS communications, research, direct/channel/product/brand/program communications, and/or e-commerce
  • 3+ years email campaign management experience
  • 3+ years vendor relationship management experience
  • Independent self-starter with a result-oriented mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to craft tailored messaging for varying audiences
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to take ideas from concept to implementation
  • Ability to efficiently embrace, manage and lead change in an agile manner
  • Excellent attention to details, fast learner, and ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects according to established timelines
  • Organization and level-headedness; ability to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional work partners to ensure projects are executed successfully
  • Ability to prioritize and manage various projects based on changing business requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and scaling organization
  • Advanced reporting skills, experience analyzing data and reporting out results in a coherent manner
  • Ability to track and analyze performance, and use data and quantitative insights to inform strategy
  • Continually monitoring industry trends and leading the adoption of strategy/tools/processes to sustain a competitive service delivery operation
  • Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within established campaign/project timelines
