About Us

Type1 is a bespoke WPP agency team, curated specifically for Volkswagen across brand, digital, and CRM.  In Canada, the team is powered by TAXI, Wunderman Thompson, and Hogarth who, together and alongside media agency Touché!, deliver a fully integrated, dedicated and award-winning offering to Volkswagen.

About the Role

We're looking for a thinker who is propelled by curiosity and a need to know, not just at work, but in all aspects of life. You Will

  • Support integrated planning activity across the whole of the VW account.
  • Work with team leaders to ensure the delivery of marketing excellence in all agency outputs.
  • Provide ongoing strategic expertise and guidance to both clients and internal teams.
  • Help develop marketing initiatives, creative briefs and campaign plans across a range of business areas.

You Bring

  • You have 4 or more years of strategy experience in an agency or related environment
  • An understanding of agency and creative processes, including proficiency with driving integrated campaigns
  • Experience building presentations and presenting to senior clients
  • Experience writing creative briefs
  • Experience building communications plans or ecosystems
  • An ability to tell compelling stories with your strategic thinking
  • An understanding of qualitative and quantitative research practices.
