Art Director and Copywriter (Intermediate Creative Team)
Yes, your portfolio is going to have to blow our hair back. It will have to show us that you are smart, not just clever, and that you know how to create work that gets noticed, gets people excited, and gets them buying stuff. You’ll have to get on well with others, think quickly and independently, and maintain TAXI’s values at all times. You’ll listen closely to fully dissect and understand briefs in order to make the best use of your creative firepower. You must have 2+ years of experience in the advertising industry in a similar role. Most importantly, your love for what you do must always come through in your work.
You Will:
- Participate in briefs, product group meetings, and presentations for a large national retail account
- Work with production to develop solid conceptual ideas and formats that achieve strategic objectives and maximize budget
- Work from Toronto in a cross-agency team with Montreal-based creative leadership
- Present layouts of concepts to the Executive Creative Directors, account group and client for discussion/approval
- Estimate and adhere to personal creative time
- Do a whole lot more
You Bring:
- A creatively impressive portfolio
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to present compelling ideas
- Ability to be flexible and precise with changing requirements and feedback
- Skills with Adobe Creative Suite software
- At least 2+ years of experience in an agency
