So what does a Senior Commercial Bid Manager really do? You will be responsible for leading a team of Proposals Managers, together which will take charge of writing, gathering, and finalizing all content found in client-facing output primarily in the form of proposals, client presentations, case studies, and even videos. You will also, together with your team, take charge of accommodating clients as they visit TaskUs’ various sites, coordinating with various departments in finalizing all aspects of their stay, agenda, and key deliverables during the visit itself.

Now, what exactly is it like being a Senior Commercial Bid Managerr?
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: leading, guiding, and developing your team in coordinating with TaskUs’ various department experts in the writing, compilation, quality control, and finalization of the company’s various operational, cultural, and performance data and metrics. Your goal is to help our Sales, Consulting, Client Services and Marketing teams acquire new clients (and expand existing ones) through artfully crafted, clear and concise written creative and technical solutions. 
As a Senior Commercial Bid Manager, you will lead and constantly grow and develop your team of 3-4 Proposal Managers in providing technical writing, editing, and proofreading services inclusive of graphical exhibits. You will also interview technical experts and create concise technical written solutions whereby proposal reviewers clearly understand we have the resources to provide technical solutions. You will create and maintain a proposal file organization, including the distribution of all internal and external proposal documents to the team and strategic partners. You will maintain configuration control of all living and deal proposal files, forms, graphics, drafts, reviewers- comments and management approvals. Lastly, you will review proposals to ensure sections comply with client proposal requirements, contain win strategies, win themes, provide feedback on proposal products.
So, do you have what it takes to become a Senior Commercial Bid Manager?

What is it exactly we’re looking for? Well, since this is a senior manager role, we need an individual who exudes both leadership and writing skills of the highest quality. if you have at least 5-7 years of experience in technical and/or creative writing or proposal management, with at least 2 to 3 years of BPO/outsourcing experience, then you may be what we’re looking for! We are also looking for a leader who has experience in effectively leading a team of supervisors and/or managers in duties similar to what we’ve mentioned above in a time-bound, high-performance setting. Also, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is needed.
Now let’s get a bit technical. We need someone who’s proficient in analyzing proposals and writing corresponding opportunity synopses, as well as someone who has excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a prospective client’s culture, needs, and bespoke requirements in order to achieve a winning submission. Also, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and detail-oriented while managing multiple proposal deadlines and activities is needed for this position. We also would prefer someone who has formal training in structured proposal development (e.g. Shipley) and has a proven track record in understanding the proposal capture process of, business process and technical services. Most importantly, a mastery of both written and verbal English communication skills is a must!
Lastly, are you willing to work both night and day shifts, possibly shifting between them every 3 months? How about traveling internationally upon request? If your answer is yes, then you’re what we need!
