Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will implement contract governance framework to manage ongoing contract compliance and help identify areas of key risks. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you will implement and deliver impactful contract management processes including contract awareness, policy compliance, contract risk management and reporting, deliverables and obligations matrices, and management of intellectual property, fraud prevention and data privacy interests.
As a Vendor Contract Specialist, you will draft and review contracts. You will implement, monitor and update contract management process. You will build significant relationships with stakeholders and other internal departments as a representative of the legal team on risk management. You will monitor and provide regular reporting to legal team and internal department stakeholders contract statuses and risk controls. You will contribute to the development of contracting best practices, playbooks and process automation. You will have to have a physical presence in TaskUs Philippines offices. You will need to be flexible in terms of work and be available at unconventional hours or on the weekends to support global team objectives and meet urgent business needs.

So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, since this is a specialist role, we need someone who has a Law Degree or alternatively Bachelor’s Degree with drafting and negotiations experience ideally for vendor contracts. Some of the required certifications are the following: IACCM and CIPP/US.
In terms of abilities, we need someone who has excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to navigate a fast paced, highly matrixed organization effectively. We need someone who is highly analytical (with both words and numbers). Someone who is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. In terms of experience, we need someone with at least 2 year experience on drafting and negotiating vendor agreements and MSA amendments, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and statements of work. Someone who has at least 2 year experience on delivering quality contract management methodologies, tools and techniques in a service delivery, legal or risk function.
