What does a PEZA Specialist really do? Think of yourself as someone who will accomplish all necessary PEZA applications and providing requirements in day to day application and activities, so not just anyone is qualified for this role. We make sure we get the best of the best, after all, we are ridiculously good company so we make sure our employees are top notch. Now we need your full concentration because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being a PEZA Specialist.
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of all (PEZA) permits and required documents to be processed such as 8105, 8106, 8101, 8112 and more. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you will be responsible for the consolidation of all PEZA processed documents for the PEZA monthly report and maintain the organized filing of PEZA documents.
As a PEZA Specialist, you will be responsible for the registration/renewal of import permits of LBTI – eIPS, AMO, GTSB and etc. You will ensure that all importation of LBTI will be released in Customs. Coordinate with PEZA, Broker and Insurance company to facility the release of goods in Customs. You will do the preparation of Letter of Authority such as but not limited to Transfer of Asset, Disposal of Assets and Etc. You will coordinate with Insurance company for Surety bond application and its renewal. You will prepare liquidation of PEZA permits and forms. Lastly, you will perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
So, do you have what it takes to become a PEZA Specialist?
So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, since this is a PEZA role, you need to have at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Custom Administration, Accounting or any Business course or equivalent. We also need someone who has at least 2 year(s) of working experience in PEZA Compliance is required for this position. Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Tax Compliance/Import processing or equivalent. Someone who’s knowledgeable in PEZA/BIR/BOC/LGU procedure and guidelines. Someone who’s knowledgeable in Import processing. Someone who can work with minimum supervision and can travel 2 to 3 times a week
