So what does a Developer really do? Think of yourself as someone who will determine the operational feasibility of solutions by evaluating the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of systems. The programs you create are likely to help the business be more efficient and provide a better service. You will be responsible for many tasks throughout the development lifecycle of applications, beginning with concept and design and up until testing. So not just anyone is qualified for this role. Now we need your full concentration because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being a Developer.
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you will take part in software and architectural development activities including conducting software analysis, programming, testing and debugging; Identify production and non-production application issues; Transform requirements into stipulations; and develop, test, implement and maintain the application software. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: You will recommend changes to improve established java application processes; develop technical designs for application development; and develop relevant application codes for java programs.
As a Developer, you will improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending significant changes in policies and procedures where necessary. You will provide this data by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Lastly, you must possess certain traits to overcome the challenges of the job which includes learning new computer languages and the resiliency to solve problems.
