So what does an ELO Officer really do? Think of yourself as someone who will be the primary support of your department, so not everyone can qualify for this role. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you want to support operations by supervising the staff. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: you must regulate, maintain, and assist in administering the activities of existing clients, prospective clients, executives, and employees.
As an ELO Officer, you will be in charge of ensuring the steady and smooth flow of transmittals and office supplies per site. You will also be in charge of preparing monthly and annual reports to track pending office supplies requisitions and consumption reports. What else? Well, you’ll also be ensuring your employees’ safety and you will need to coordinate shuttle service logs and trips. As an Officer, you will be in charge for executive meeting set-ups together with the POCs of other departments. You will also be responsible in replenishing E.L.O refreshment items such as beverages and snacks. As an Officer, you will help your Supervisor in booking travels and hotels as well as submit and reconcile expense reports.
So, do you have what it takes to become an ELO Officer?
So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, since this is an Officer role, we need someone with the experience to even call themselves one. So we need someone who has at least 2 years of similar or related experience. We also need someone who has experience in working with foreign nationals, someone with experience in travel accounts or travel agencies, and someone with experience in the hospitality industry.
Now let’s get technical. We need someone who has experience in making travel arrangements (i.e hotel bookings, airline bookings both international and domestic), someone who can process immigration documents, and can prepare the monthly/annual reports to track pending office supplies requisitions and consumption reports.
