Profitability Enablement Director
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you want to ensure that the company's global financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis will represent the results of the company strategic action to protect the company’s assets and help TaskUs achieve its financial targets. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you will lead the finance, planning and analysis team for PH, TW & India. You will drive, enable and motivate the team members to achieve individual, departmental and company short and long-term goals. You will lead the team in providing the company’s management financial reports to help drive the simple and gross margins targets per site and per geography. You should ensure that financials should be presented in a fair and accurate manner with integrity and compliance with local and US GAAP, local tax and government bodies’ regulations and protect its teammates and board of directors’ interests.
As you look at your tasks for the day, you know that as Profitability Enablement Director, you must collaborate with the different groups within the company like client services, operations team and other corporate support functions. You are expected to help the Vice President in running the Finance Department segment that focuses on reporting, forecasting, revenue and costs drivers that focuses on revenue, simple and gross margins. Along with this, you will work across departments to ensure the success of the annual budget process, monitoring results, comparison of budget with actual and be able to explain the variances on during management reporting calls and or sessions. You will lead the global team in ensuring site calls, quality business review is happening and that all the financial data help, analysis, and insights were provided to the operations team especially to leaders.
As the Profitability Enablement Director, you are looked upon to review and communicate monthly financial and other related reports to management and other stakeholders, including the VPs & SVP's per region.You will coordinate board meeting materials necessary focusing on revenue, simple and gross margin results. You are expected to provide insightful analysis of Asia revenue budget variances and expense trends. You may also be tapped to help in reporting requirements for new countries once it goes live. This doesn’t end here because you will also assist different support department leaders and site operations leaders in interpreting complex financial transactions and you will be involved in the planning/managing of their expense budgets inconsistency with their department/site targets. You will implement necessary controls and limits, and continuously monitor all aspects of spend in the organization, whilst maximizing business growth and profitability. You must also be someone who does analysis because you will be constantly performing analysis as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process, ensuring the posting of appropriate accruals, general ledger and bank account reconciliations, researching and resolving irregularities.

What is it we’re looking for? Since this is a Director post we’d need someone who already has the skills to even call themselves a Leader. Definitely someone with experience in being one, if you have at least 10 years of experience and at least 6 years of experience in having an executive role, you can qualify for the role and we need someone who already has strong leadership skills and exposure with CXO level. Someone with experience in various domains in the outsourcing Industry would definitely have an edge.
This is a Profitability Enablement Director role so having a Bachelor’s degree is needed (are you someone with a degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Math or other related courses? Even better!)
We need someone who has extensive knowledge and skills in using MS Office applications & Google business applications, particularly in MS Excel because let’s face it -- MS Excel and or google sheet will be one of the applications you’ll be using ALL THE TIME.
