Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind:
that you will draft, negotiate and review vendor-related requests (both pre-sale and post-sale) including contracts, policies, templates, and process instructions to support department leaders. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you will draft  and deliver impactful  contract management processes  including contract awareness, policy  compliance, contract risk management, and  reporting, deliverables and obligations matrices,  and management of intellectual property, fraud prevention, and  data privacy interests.

As the Commercial Contracts Manager, you will develop a contract governance framework to manage ongoing contract compliance and resolve  areas of key risks. You will build an understanding of local/regional vendor operations and partner with their leadership teams to drive cross-functional initiatives to improve vendor engagements. You will drive alignment in contracting, vendor planning and strategy, and performance management. You will actively lead and participate in growth initiatives within the legal function. You will build durable, trusted relationships with service delivery and other internal departments as a representative of the legal team on risk management. You will monitor and provide regular reporting to internal department stakeholders on their specific risk controls. You will prepare reports and analysis showing performance and distribute to major stakeholders. You will collaborate and work closely with Senior Commercial Contracts Manager in providing guidelines in the development of policies, processes, and standards for an efficient vendor management process. You will contribute to the development of contracting best practices, playbooks and process automation. You will need to have a physical presence in assigned TaskUs Philippines offices. 40% domestic and international travel, as needed, to support the business requirements and legal department.  Such travel may require extended stays (e.g., two weeks) at the location. Work or be available at unconventional hours or on the weekends to support global team objectives and meet urgent business needs

So, do you have what it takes to become a Commercial Contracts Manager?

Requirements:

So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, we need someone with a
Law Degree or alternatively a Bachelor’s Degree with significant vendor procurement management experience. We need someone with at least 3 to 7 years of Vendor Management or Procurement or Sourcing experience. Someone with at least 3 to 7 years of delivering quality contract management methodologies, tools, and techniques in a service delivery, legal or risk function.

What else? We need someone who demonstrated and applied experience initiating and successfully delivering medium to highly complex projects. Someone with excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization effectively. A self-starter with minimum supervision required. Someone who’s a strong communicator (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal skills. Someone who understands and utilizes the behaviors of others to personally affect an outcome. Someone who facilitates mutually beneficial outcomes to satisfy various interests. Someone who combines knowledge, curiosity, imagination, and evaluation to achieve desired results. Someone with skills in project management - who is able to maintain the objectives while honoring designated constraints. Lastly, someone with a strong work ethic, impeccable organization, and a creative problem solver.
