Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind:
that you will be responsible for assisting the operations of the Legal Team with core legal functions such as contracts analysis, entity compliance, litigation matter management, legal team reporting, document management, department innovation projects and various other tasks to support the legal department. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that you will organize data for Legal repository and/or maintaining reports by entering data into various databases. 
 
As a Legal Analyst, you will convert documents into production format. You will educate key stakeholders and maintaining knowledge on the legacy and current company systems (for Client, Vendor, Corporate, Employment Teams). You will update, track changes, and maintain corporate governance database. You will search for internal information systems/database for legal documents and information. You will update the budget database with received invoices for records. You will submit necessary regular reports to Legal Operations Associate and VP, Global Head of Legal. You will demonstrate growing knowledge of legal processes and best practices by learning the lifecycle of the legal process. You will initiate process mapping for essential Legal database maintenance and data generation. You will identify legal process gaps and taking the initiative to resolve issues in the process. You will interpret requests to identify needed information. You will provide recommendations and information to clients and attorneys on case matters.

Requirements:

What exactly are we looking for? Well since this is a Legal Analyst post, we need someone who has an analytical, flexible, and pragmatic approach. We need someone who has good judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills. We need someone with discretion and ability to maintain the confidentiality of information. We need someone with excellent oral and written communication skills. We need someone who can prepare materials of the highest-quality and other work product. We also need someone who has self-motivation, enthusiasm, has the willingness and ability to provide administrative support as needed.
 
What else? We also need someone with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Legal Ops, preferably with experience in a shared services role, such as a business analyst and paralegal. Someone who has the ability to think strategically while managing the details, and to make clear recommendations. Someone who has strong organizational, project management, and execution skills. Someone who has a proactive approach to recognizing needs and solving problems. Someone who has the ability to balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively and independently, including driving results and delivering to deadlines and budgets. Someone who has the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a growing legal team and cross-functionally. Someone who has strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented attitude, and superior attention to detail. Someone with substantial skill and experience with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.

Lastly, we need someone who is a true self-starter, with a strong work ethic and organizational skills and who is above all else a creative problem solver – and the team will appreciate someone with a good sense of humor! The location of this role is based in the BGC, Philippines with a preference for proximity to our existing offices.
