UX Designer really do? Think of yourself as someone who will design software and platforms that meet the needs of our teammates, team leads, operational leadership, business stakeholders, and external clients, so not just anyone is qualified for this role! Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you will collect and summarize user feedback and analysis.  As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to working collaboratively with other UX Analysts and Designers and members of the Corporate Applications service teams.


As a UX Designer, you will evaluate user behaviors, conduct research, surveys and user audits. You will suggest multiple alternatives for the design of system user interface and workflow. You will work with identified personas and real users to build needs and activity assessments; evaluate interface and system workflows to optimize and enhance an intuitive user experience within TaskUs applications. The TaskUs UX Designer will combine strong analytical and organizational skills with the ideation and creativity of design functions in order to quickly grasp elemental user needs and address application issues and improvements. A strong portfolio of successful UX experience on a variety of technical projects is essential for immediate success. Ultimately, the objective of our TaskUs UX Designer is to make TaskUs applications more user-friendly and intuitive in order to improve efficiency and engagement with these platforms. 


What else? You will capture, understand and document product specifications. You will leverage experience and training with user psychology to evaluate applications. You will conduct surveys, concept and usability testing, focus group discussions, to gather, document detailed feedback and synthesize and present in a summarized format. You will create personas through UX techniques based on user and business research and system data. You will define multiple interaction models and evaluate their success to select the right design. You will develop wireframes and prototypes around identified user needs. You will find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability). You will work with UI and application developers to implement engaging application interfaces. You will communicate design ideas and prototypes to a variety of audiences (developers to executives). You will keep abreast of industry trends in application interfaces.

What exactly are we looking for? Well, we need someone who has proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role. We need someone who must be able to represent and share a rich portfolio of design projects.  Experience with mobile, responsive and multi-format user interface design is needed. Familiarity with project management and research practices is needed. Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture is also needed.


What else? Proficiency in design software (e.g. UXPin, Balsamiq).  Knowledge of HTML/CSS required; JavaScript is a plus. Problem-solving aptitude, analytical mind with business acumen, excellent communication skills are needed. A graduate of BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is needed.
