General Accountability:
Reporting to the Drilling Superintendent, the Drilling Shift Supervisor will supervise day-to-day field oversight activities and be responsible for the direct supervision of geologists, hydrogeologists, and technicians working on their shift. The Drilling Shift Supervisor will work a rotating shift to support oversight of the 24/7 wellfield drilling effort.  Supervision of the field staff will include reviewing data collected to ensure that it meets quality assurance requirements, supporting field staff on data storage and documentation, and ensuring field operations meet all health and safety requirements.  
Core Responsibilities:
•    Supervision and monitoring drilling, well construction, and well testing activities, including directing personnel to specific tasks.
•    Coordinate, communicate, and ensure the shift field team is collecting required data and recording it in accordance with all permit requirements, site requirements, and the quality assurance program.
•    Oversee health and safety during shift, including conducting daily tailgate meetings for shift.  
•    Daily shift reporting as requested by the wellfield management team.
•    Maintenance and management of field equipment, including sounders, taglines, field parameter meters, transducers, well packers, tablets, etc., including proactively identifying the need for additional equipment and coordinating with the wellfield management team to procure. 
•    Proactively identify, manage, and resolve potential problems, conflicts, and schedule issues with shift personnel and contractors/consultants.
Experience: 
•    Minimum of 3 years drilling and well construction oversight experience, experience with personnel management preferred but not required.
•    Experience with hydrogeologic field methods and well construction industry standards. 
•    Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology, geology, or related field. 
•    Computer skills – strong computer literacy skills, database and GIS experience preferred but not required.
