Production Planning Intern
Description
- Collaborate with project scheduling, engineering, manufacturing, and accounting teams at TAS to ensure alignment of production plans with project timelines and resource availability.
- Participate in project team meetings to provide insights and updates on production schedules, resource allocation, and procurement status.
- Work closely with Scheduling and Document Controls departments to maintain accurate records of production schedules, resource utilization, and document revisions.
- Monitor and track procurement items against project schedules, coordinating with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Tracking procurement items against project schedules
- Other duties as assigned by TAS
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in engineering or project management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
