POSITION OVERVIEW: 
TAS Energy Inc. is seeking an individual who is currently enrolled in a college or university to join our ERP Team for the Summer of 2024. This individual will support our Enterprise Applications Team. Prior IT related courses or IT related experience is encouraged. Interest in ERP systems is preferred but experience is not necessary. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Troubleshoots issues with enterprise software applications.
  • Documents fixes and maintains internal knowledge base.
  • Collaborates with internal resources, consultants, and the software vendor to resolve technical and functional issues in a timely manner when required.
  • Assists with implementation and support of cross-functional software projects.
  • Performs technical adjustments and updates to enterprise application components.
  • Coordinates knowledge-sharing sessions between system stakeholders and support resources.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by TAS.

  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
  • Explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to individuals and groups.
  • Research and resolve inquiries.
  • Demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work under time constraints to meet deadlines.
  • Set priorities and make decisions on a variety of complex matters; organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
  • Retrieve data to prepare documents and produce a variety of reports from the ERP system.
  
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a degree in an information technology related field. 
  
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and workstation operating systems.
  • Experience with configuration and support of Microsoft SQL Server.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions.  Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading.  The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
