Enrollment Specialist

Non-clinical United States

Description

Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low, and paperwork is unduly burdensome. With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.

About the role:
In support of our mission to improve access to high quality psychiatric care and behavioral health, the Enrollment Specialist is responsible for completing payor enrollment on behalf of our clinical personnel, for the benefit of our patients and insurance partners. This is accomplished by using our innovative software platform that stores confidential credentialing information that allows you to complete assigned tasks.

You will:
  • Consult clinicians to obtain current credentialing information and/or supporting documents to ensure data is current and accurate prior to enrollment application/roster submission.
  • Prioritize assigned tasks and submit enrollment applications/rosters within metric benchmarks.
  • Identify and escalate processing roadblocks that may jeopardize the clinician’s start date.
  • Execute system data-entry updates to track tasks and enrollment status for reporting purposes.

You have:
  • Two years’ experience with CAQH Database and Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payor enrollment processes.
  • High School/GED Diploma required, bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based research.
  • High Integrity. You represent Talkiatry’s mission, vision, and values with infectious enthusiasm.
  • Exceptional Customer Service. You exude positivity and go above and beyond to support and assist our clinicians, leaders, peers, and contracted insurance partners.
  • Ability to handle time sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to multi-tasks and work in a high-volume and fast paced environment
