Senior Key Account Manager

The Senior Key Accounts Manager will drive new opportunities and increase Share of Wallet (SoW) by overseeing, reinforcing, expanding on, and sustaining relationships with SYSPRO Africa's key customers.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification/certification in Business Management and/or Marketing
  • In-depth experience within the manufacturing and/or distribution industry (8 years plus)
  • ERP or IT industry experience
  • Target Market Industry Experience (Advantageous)
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining long term relationships with key stakeholders and providing real value-adding support, recommendations and solutions based on continual, accurate and in-depth exploration, analyses and integration of such customers' business requirements
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Assist, as SYSPRO product-solution advisor, in sales and pre-sales, in order to offer relevant solutions in response to customer needs and objectives
  • Manage and continuously improve on the Account Management delivery model
  • Operate as the first point of engagement with key customers
  • Develop a trusted advisory relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Monitor Profit & Loss (P&L) per key account
