Description

SYSPRO is looking for a confident,  disciplined, and self-starting  Solutions Consultant to join our Africa Professional Services Team.

The Solutions Consultant is responsible for providing the SYSPRO Africa customer base with financial software consultation and support to ensure continuous SYSPRO usage and solution expansion.

The Solution Consultant assists the customer to ensure business relevant financial solutions are implemented and maintained assisting SYSPRO achieve Annual License Fee (ALF) retention and growth. 

The Solution Consultant must be a team player and able to lead and advise the team regarding SYSPRO Financials.


Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Com Financial, B.Com IT, or equivalent
  • CMA/CA with commercial experience will be advantageous
  • 5-6 years ERP/SYSPRO experience
  • Strong Industry knowledge
  • Strong financial business/ERP process knowledge/experience
  • Technical/Solution knowledge
  • Project management
  • Strong influential ability


Primary duties and responsibilities

SYSPRO Product Optimization and Projects

  • Lead/Deliver Project Consulting as part of a project team to customers directly and with SYSPRO partners following the IDEAL methodology
  • Analyse and recommend improvements on the SYSPRO Financial modules and procedures to improve customer usage of SYSPRO Software
  • Provide SYSPRO solutions and/or technical assistance in accordance with the customer’s business needs
  • Conduct SYSPRO financial usage audits to analyse and provide solutions on business processes to improve the use of our software at customer sites
  • Manage own consulting delivery of allocated projects / project tasks

Customer Billings

  • Ensure the timely and accurate billing of hours to customers
  • Complete billing documentation and obtain customer sign-off


Customer Support

  • Provide quality and effective consulting support to customers through the identification and resolution of issues
  • Maintain customer relationship to assigned customers

 

Training

  • Provide financial solution training where needed
  • Upskill customers on the effective use of SYSPRO Financial and/or technical setup

 

Documentation

  • Prepare documentation for processes and enhancements as required. Log or have logged errors via SYSPRO Support
